Tend to all of your online banking needs, including paying bills online, with our electronic services. Review up-to-the-minute account information from anywhere in the world through Focus Online Banking!

Our E-Lightning Banking Services include a host of features:

Focus Online Banking

 

Bank2Bank: Allows you to electronically transfer money from your account at another bank to your BankNewport account.  You may send money to another bank from your BankNewport account for a $3.00 fee.  Managing your accounts is even easier than before!

E-Statements: Allows you to receive your bank statement electronically in place of your paper statement.

Online check register: We have included an online "Register" that works just like your old paper register! You can enter pending deposits or withdrawals, and the register will automatically balance when the matching item posts to the account.

Cross Customer Transfers: This feature allows you to transfer funds to another BankNewport customer, even if you're not an authorized signer on the account.*

Check images: Need a copy of a check that you wrote? Just click the check number in your transaction history to see a copy of the front and back of the check.

Stop payments: You can also place a stop payment on a check right from your register. The stop payment fee of $25.00 will be automatically deducted from your checking account.

24-hour Customer Service: Change your address, order a debit card, renew a certificate of deposit or IRA and much more by clicking the "Other Services" tab.

Mail Box: Use this feature to securely view alerts, check messages or contact us.

Download to QuickBooks, Microsoft Money and Excel: Download your account information by clicking Quicken, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Money. For downloading into Excel click the "Reports" tab. For more details view our FAQ section.

Customize your Online Banking register: Click "Options" at the top of any Online Banking screen and change your colors or spacing.

Hide accounts: Do you have an account that you do not wish to view online? Click the "Remove Account" button from your Accounts page and follow the steps to remove that account. If you decide that you wish to view a removed account simply click the "Add Account" button.

Loans: View your balance and activity on your loans, lines of credit, and mortgages.

Reports: Would you like to find out where your money is going? Well, now you can manage your money more responsibly with custom financial reports for all transactions you have categorized.

Bill Pay

Start saving time for the more important things with our FREE Online Bill Pay service. It's the quick, safe, and easy way to pay your bills or send money to just about anyone. Just point, click, and pay with our fast payment system. Schedule payments at your convenience, for next day, next month or set up recurring payments.

Electronic Payments: More payees now accept payments electronically. For a list of merchants that accept electronic payments please click here. If your merchant does not accept payments electronically we will automatically mail them a paper check.

Multi Payment: Allows you to pay all your bills on one screen with just a few clicks. You may even schedule payments up to a year in advance.

Loans: You can make an immediate payment to a BankNewport loan, line of credit, or commercial mortgage by clicking on the "Transfer" tab.

Bill Pay Guarantee: BankNewport's Bill Payment Guarantee covers errors made by us in processing your online bill payments, providing you notify us promptly. If we make an error, we will pay any late fees or finance charges that you incur. Our Guarantee does not cover late fees that result from: incorrect information entered by you such as payee addresses, payment amounts or account numbers, postal delays, and payments you do not schedule within our recommended timeframes (2 to 3 business days prior to the bill's due date for electronic payments, 5-7 business days in advance for payments made by a paper check.)
