Bank2Bank allows you to transfer* money between your BankNewport accounts and those you own at other U.S. financial institutions, including banks, credit unions and brokerage accounts! Put a little extra in your checking account "just to be sure" you have enough for bills etc.

When to use Bank2Bank
· Make deposits to your BankNewport accounts from another institution
· Replenish or add funds to a higher-rate BankNewport account
· Move money to your BankNewport account to pay bills through Bill Pay

Eligible Bank2Bank Account Types
Any BankNewport checking and statement savings account,** as well as checking and savings accounts from other banks and credit unions may be set up with this service.  Eligible investment and brokerage accounts from other institutions may also be set up.  One of your BankNewport accounts must be one of the accounts in the transfer.

Bank2Bank Transfers fee
· No transaction fees apply if you transfer money into your BankNewport accounts from your non- BankNewport accounts
· A $3.00 transaction fee will be charged for each transfer made from your BankNewport accounts to your non-BankNewport accounts.  A $25 fee will be charged for a returned or rejected transfer.

Note: You can continue to use the 'Transfers' function within Focus Online Banking to move money between your BankNewport accounts and to make payments on your BankNewport accounts, just as you do today. You may also use the "Cross Customer Transfer" function to transfer funds to another BankNewport account that you are not a signer on.

How to get started using Bank2Bank
All Focus Online Banking customers with a valid BankNewport checking or savings account are eligible to use the Bank2Bank .
· Simply SignOn to Focus Online Banking just as you do today.
· Select "Bank2Bank Transfers" from the menu.
· Follow the steps to Register for the service.
· When complete, you can begin to add eligible accounts for transferring funds. The service will store account information so it only needs to be entered once.
· Start enjoying the ability to transfer funds between all your accounts!

If you're NOT yet enrolled for Focus Online Banking:
· Click Enroll to sign up for the service today! Focus Online Banking and Bill Pay are free services from BankNewport.
· You can receive immediate access to Focus Online Banking (and your accounts!) when you complete the short application on our website. Once you complete the application you may sign on using the Sign on ID and Password you selected.*** During registration, be sure to say "Yes" to the free Bill Pay service so you can start paying your bills online.
· Once you have Signed On, select "Bank2Bank Transfers" to enroll in the new service.

* Not available to Business customers with a Tax ID number.
**Transfers from a savings account to another account by check, pre-authorized, automatic, telephone, or Internet are limited to six transactions per statement cycle. A fee of $10 may be charged for each transaction thereafter and your account may be subject to closure by the Bank.
***Business customers with a Tax ID number will be contacted by phone and provided with access information within 24 hours.
